NEWS & UPDATES

e-Card funding round – July 1, 2023 to October 31, 2023

30 Jun 2023

We’re delighted to let you know that the Cerebral Society Board has approved $200 getProgramme funding per member for the period from July 1, 2023 to October 31, 2023.

To receive the next round of funding a member must:

  • have a current/active payment plan (ie next payment due 2024 or later)
  • have an ecard
  • have provided evidence of a Cerebral Palsy diagnosis.

Automatic top ups (for those who received funding in the March 1, 2023, to June 30, 2023, round) will begin during the week of June 3. You do not need to contact us, and you will receive a text or email confirmation once your top up has been completed.

Anyone who did not receive funding in the March 1, 2023, to June 30, 2023, will not qualify for an automatic top up and will need to contact the Society from the week of June 3 to request their card is topped up.

Please be patient while we process the requests for e-Card top ups. We will be inundated with calls, emails and forms to process and it may take a week or two to get through them all. We apologise in advance for any delays you experience.

To check the balance on your e-card, please go to https://ecardsolutions.nz/portal/cps/

The funding on your e-Card will expire on October 31, 2023.
Funding needs to be redeemed at one of our onboarded suppliers before the expiry date.
Please do not throw your e-card away. The funds expire, not the card itself.

If you have a preferred supplier that is not already accepting the Cerebral Palsy Society e-Cards, and meets the criteria of getPhysical, getOutThere, getThis&That or GetUpAgain, please ask them to contact our team on  cpsociety@cpsociety.org.nz to start the onboarding process. The onboarding process can take approximately 4 weeks.

They will not be able to accept payment via your e-Card until they are onboarded.
The list of current suppliers is available on our website.

The getProgrammes
You can use the $200 funding on the following getProgrammes:

getOutThere
Designed to get people with Cerebral Palsy engaging with their community, getOutThere helps fund part of the transport company’s fare.

getPhysical
The aim of the getPhysical programme is to enable members to maintain, or improve, their physical ability and fitness.

getThis&That
This programme allows members with Cerebral Palsy to purchase small items that help manage the effects of living with Cerebral Palsy.

getUpAgain
Every now and then, things in life can get us down – but we have to get up again! This programme helps give access to, and finance, three to six counselling sessions.
