OUR EVENTS
The CP Society strives to help our members get together as often as possible through local events. These include fun things like Christmas get togethers, family meetings, guest speakers and lots more. We also have meet-ups and coffee clubs throughout New Zealand where members can catch up.

Give-it-a-Go Day
Sunday 10th February 10am to 2pm – Auckland
Give-it-a-Go Day is a family-friendly free event designed to give children with disabilities the opportunity to try new things. The event is being held in the East Lounge at Mt Smart Stadium

Cerebral Palsy Therapy – Two Day Course
Tuesday 12th & Wednesday 13th February, Auckland
With therapist Pia Stampe, PT, DPT , this in depth course will provide an overview of human neuroplasticity, emphasizing the impressive recovery advantage of pediatric versus adult brain injury and teach a detailed, intensive and lesion-specific approach to therapy. At the completion of the course, therapists will have all the tools necessary to use this this approach in their work with infants, children and teens with Cerebral Palsy.
