AGM 2022 – board members announced
30 Oct 2022
Thank you to everyone who participated in today’s AGM; from members who took the time to vote and those who attended the meeting virtually or in person, to everyone who was nominated for board vacancies, and to the past and current board members.
We value the voices of our members, so to receive such a great level of engagement for an AGM, for a second year in a row, has been fantastic. Thank you.
The CP Society Board comprises of nine (9) directors. There were four (4) positions available, and five (5) candidates put their names forward.
We would like to congratulate the following four (4) elected candidates, announced at today’s AGM:
- Meg Smith
- Merryn Straker
- Murray Waring
- Peter Wynne-Jones
We wish them all the best for their term ahead.
Five (5) board members retain their position on the Board until the 2023 AGM, and therefore did not stand for re-election:
- Daniel Clay
- George Hewitt
- Emma Lovett
- Katherine Thomas
- Reuben Woods
We would like to take this opportunity to farewell and thank Pippa Huddleston, pictured below, who is ending her tenure as a board member after two years. We thank Pippa for her commitment and service to the Society.
Thank you to those who put their names forward to serve on the board but were not successful. We are grateful that we have people who want to support the Society, and advocate for its members, in this way.
Here’s to an exciting, fulfilling and prosperous 2022-2023 year ahead for the Society.
Ngā mihi,
Clare and the CP Society team
