NEWS & UPDATES
e-Card funding round – Nov 1, 2022 – Feb 28, 2023
01 Nov 2022
We’re delighted to let you know that the Cerebral Society Board has approved $250 getProgramme funding per member for the period from November 1, 2022 to February 28, 2023.
The amount of funding has been slightly reduced, compared to more recent funding rounds, because we are experiencing an increase in both new members joining the Society, and an increase in the uptake of e-card funding by existing members.
If you’ve had a top up during the previous round (from July 1, 2022 to October 31, 2022), your card will automatically be topped up for this new round of funding. You do not need to contact us, and you will receive a text or email confirmation once your top up has been completed.
If you did not apply for funding in the previous round (from July 1, 2022 to October 31, 2022), please request a top up for your e-card in one of the usual manners:
- Go to cerebralpalsy.org.nz and log in to the dashboard – click ‘apply for a programme’ and fill in the form.
- Email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a top-up.
- Phone 0800 503 603 to request a top up.
Please be patient while we process all the requests for e-Card top ups. We will be inundated with calls, emails and forms to process and it may take a week or two to get through them all. We apologise in advance for any delays you experience.
The funding on your e-Card will expire on February 28, 2023 and therefore needs to be redeemed at one of our onboarded suppliers by that date. Any funds not redeemed by February 28, 2023 will expire.
If you have a preferred supplier that is not already accepting the Cerebral Palsy Society e-Cards, and meets the criteria of getPhysical, getOutThere, getThis&That or GetUpAgain, please ask them to contact the team on email@example.com to start the onboarding process. They will not be able to accept payment via your e-Card until they are onboarded.
Our list of current suppliers is available on the website.
You can use the $250 funding on the following getProgrammes:
Designed to get people with Cerebral Palsy engaging with their community, getOutThere helps fund part of the transport company’s fare.
The aim of the getPhysical programme is to enable members to maintain, or improve, their physical ability and fitness.
This programme allows members with Cerebral Palsy to purchase small items that help manage the effects of living with Cerebral Palsy.
Every now and then, things in life can get us down – but we have to get up again! This programme helps give access to, and finance, 3 to 6 counselling sessions.
