The Cerebral Palsy Society is a member-based charity that strives to enable all people living with Hōkai Nukurangi / Cerebral Palsy (CP) in Aotearoa, to maximise their potential by providing programmes, support, information and advice. Our members are at the heart of everything we do and we are proud to support our members to ensure they are seen, heard, and live awesome lives at all ages and stages.

About the role:

This is a full time (40 hours per week) role with the opportunity to work remotely, based in Auckland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Office Management: Effective delivery of general remote office operations. 
  • Finance: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, credit card reconciliations, expense claims processes, payroll.
  • HR Support: Effective management of staff and Board onboarding and offboarding processes; Support with recruitment processes.
  • Health and Safety: Manage H&S processes, training delivery and compliances.
  • Staff Management: Effective management of 1 direct report, contractors and temporary staff as required.  
  • Documentation Management: Documentation of processes, streamlining of processes for efficiency.
  • IT Management: Effective management of organisation’s IT requirements and services.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and members.
  • Complaints Processes: Effective management of internal and external complaints procedures.
  • Event Management: Coordinate events, meetings and travel arrangements for operational staff and Board.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Effective Funding and Audit reporting. 

Qualifications and experience

  • Desirable: 5+ years’ experience as an Office Manager.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Basic bookkeeping / accounting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Xero and Sharepoint.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
