Paul

“My journey with CP has been one of determination, resilience and commitment to staying active.
CP mean living with stiffness, tight muscles, and an aching body, which can make everyday activities challenging. Despite these difficulties, I continue to focus on what I can achieve rather than the limitations I face.
My greatest achievements include attending Riding for Disabled, where I enjoyed horse riding, an activity that I find rewarding and empowering.
My key goal is to stay out of a wheelchair. To support this goal, I attend regular physiotherapy sessions, stay active through walking and complete regular exercises to strengthen my body and manage the effects of CP.
I am blessed to have a wonderful group of friends from my church community and my close friends, who provide encouragement, companionship and support.
Their kindness and presence help life me up when I am feeling low and contribute greatly to my emotional well-being.
Through my commitment to exercise, therapy and friendships, and the activities I enjoy, I continue to demonstrate courage, perseverance and a positive outlook on life.”
