Join Steptember and make a difference to Kiwis living with cerebral palsy

Steptember Registrations Are Now Open

12 Jul 2019

We’re proud to announce that registrations for Steptember, which runs from September 3-30 this year, are now open. As many of you know, Steptember is the Cerebral Palsy Society’s biggest annual fundraising campaign, in which people dance, roll, walk, surf, cycle, or swim the equivalent of 10,000 “steps” each day for 28 consecutive days – approximately 40 activities can help you achieve this daily goal.

Proceeds from this event will help us provide vital help for those living with cerebral palsy (CP) as well as their families. By participating in this event, you can make a real difference to those who live with CP whilst also giving you a chance to become healthier, fitter and part of a team – of family members, friends or workmates.

When you register online ($25pp/$100 for a team of 4), we’ll send you a pedometer to help your Steptember-ing. If you use a manual wheelchair or bicycle for your activity, an odometer can track your rotations instead. Throughout the campaign, you’ll be able to track your progress on the website or via the App, and we’ll provide you with encouragement and simple ideas to raise funds. Steptember is designed for all ages and stages, so we hope you’ll join us and help make a real difference to those living in CP.
